What types of clients do you typically work with?
I work with children, adolescents, and adults in both short and long term therapy.
What will the therapy process consist of?
The therapy treatment process includes areas of ongoing assessment and clinical evaluation, treatment planning where goals are established, and the therapeutic work. I tailor my clinical work to each individual or treatment unit, including careful understanding of your presenting difficulties, your values, culture. With children, my clinical work includes their developmental stage and age and utilize play therapy strategies.
Is what I say not shared with others?
Patient confidences are not disclosed to anyone except as mandated by law, as permitted by law, if therapist is a defendant in a civil, criminal or disciplinary action arising from therapy, or if there is an authorization previously obtained in writing.
Are you a part of a partnership, a non profit organization, or part of a professional counseling organization?
No. I am a sole proprietor, independent Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and not a part of a business entity.
What is your cancellation policy?
I request that you contact me at (408) 637-6012 if you need to cancel your appointment within 48 hours of your reserved session time.
What is the fee for each therapy session?
The fee for each 50-minute therapy session is $140. Fee is due at each session time.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance at this time.
Do you provide psychotherapy in other languages?
I provide psychotherapy in Spanish and English languages.
